Pre–Lecture for the 2023 Workshop on “Designing a Digital × Sustainable Society: Weaving New Networks of Interdependency with Forests and Oceans”
Information
The basis for a sustainable society is the primary industry closest to nature, in which humans directly and intimately interact with the environment. In this light, our workshop, scheduled in September 2023, will focus on the forestry and fishery industries to understand the existing networks of interdependency that extend from the forest and the sea. Furthermore, we will explore how we can visualize and weave anew the invisible networks between forests and oceans through digital technologies to envisage a sustainable form of nature. This pre–lecture will be held to share information on the topic for the workshop in advance.
