6th Seminar: Infection and its Impacts on Society –Past, Present and Future–

Tohoku Forum for Creativity and WISE Program (Doctoral Program for World-leading Innovative & Smart Education) of Tohoku University collaborate to hold the 6th seminar in Seminar Series by Tohoku University WISE Programs "Create the New Normal". Currently, the spread of COVID-19 infection on a global scale dramatically impacts each country’s public health and economic activities. We enter a new era under the coexistence with this coronavirus. In this seminar, we discuss how society has changed due to the infectious diseases we have experienced (plague, smallpox, cholera, influenza, etc.) and the impact of this corona infection on society.
