“The Origin of the Nobel Prize and the Impact on the World in the Future”
The Nobel Prize is one of the most famous awards in the world. However, its significance, origin, and future direction are not as famous as the prize itself. Besides that, it is hard to imagine how much influence the world’s greatest award had, or will have on research activity. In conjunction with the Sketches of Science exhibition at Tohoku University, we invite Dr.Olove Ameline, the Director of the Nobel Museum to give a special lecture on the story behind the Nobel Laureates.

Prof. Masayuki Yamamoto, the Executive Director of the Tohoku Medical Megabank Organization will reveal the secret of the Nobel Prize screening process.
