Design Lab for our Future Co–existence

2026 Future Fable Creation Project

Information

This project aims to extend the “Future Fable Creation Project,” a collaborative initiative between the Tohoku Forum for Creativity (TFC) at Tohoku University and Tokyo Electron Ltd. We will hold a workshop where participants use generative AI to freely imagine “the society of the future” and turn their ideas into fables, imaginative stories with a lesson or message. Together with AI, participants will explore the question: What kind of society do we want to live in? They will think about the future they hope to see, from the global environment, science and technology, schools and ways of working, to friendship, family, and the relationships around us. By learning about issues facing future society and engaging in dialogue with AI, participants will shape their thoughts into fables. This project offers a special opportunity to nurture imagination, social awareness, and an understanding of technology.
