Immunology changing the World: Regulatory T Cells and New Immunotherapies

Information

The immune system—our body's primary defense mechanism—is poised to revolutionize the treatment of various conditions, from cancer to autoimmune diseases. In this lecture, Dr. Shimon Sakaguchi, recipient of the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, will discuss his pioneering research on "regulatory T cells" (Tregs) and the cutting–edge advancements in immunotherapy it has enabled. We invite everyone to attend, including high school and university students, the general public, and anyone with an interest in medicine or the life sciences.
