Special Event

[Sendai Foundation for Applied Information Sciences × Tohoku Forum for Creativity Collaborative Program] Sendai Round–table Talk “Creating a New AI Industry from Sendai — The Key to Next–Generation Entertainment Technology: Physical AI and the Platforms That Bring Content to Life —”

Information

∗This event will be held in Japanese.

AI avatars, robots powered by Physical AI, next–generation visual media, and other emerging forms of “Entertainment Tech” are opening up exciting new possibilities for society. In the coming era, however, it will not be enough simply to create outstanding content and technologies. Equally important will be the platforms and infrastructure that connect these innovations, enable them to work together, and bring their value into society.
In this special event, we will explore the exciting future being shaped by technology from two cutting–edge perspectives: entertainment and content creation, presented by Takayuki Hayakawa, and Physical AI, presented by Hiroya Masuoka. In the second half of the event, the speakers will be joined by Tomoya Iwata, Director–General of the Economic Affairs Bureau of Sendai City, for a discussion on platform strategies for maximizing the potential of these emerging technologies and creating new industries from Sendai.
We warmly invite you to join us and explore how Sendai can become a hub for the next generation of AI and Entertainment Tech.
