The Varieties of Human Life: its Cultures and Histories

What does it mean for humans to live? First of all, it is to see things, hear sounds, and experience the world through the body with which we are born. Of course, we do not live forever: there will come a time when we have to face the coming decay and death. However, we do not just die and disappear. We leave behind a culture and history as a proof that we have lived. The following lectures might offer you some clues for considering the questions of human life and its culture and history.
