Connect the World Project - Regional Impact of COVID-19


Information

Due to the changed environment in the world at the moment and the inability of students to connect through exchanges, we would like to invite you to participate in casual discussions with other students from around the world (including Denmark, Germany, Indonesia, Mongolia, Romania, Vietnam, and Wuhan).
Our first topic of discussion will be: To analyze the impact of COVID on the society of the various home countries.

Kick Off meeting for student discussions with an introductory talk by Prof. Naoki Odanaka (Tohoku University, socio-economic history of France): "How infectious diseases throughout history have shaped, and have been shaped by society".
Student group meetings will continue for several weeks until May 27

Thursday, May 27, 2021 17:00 (JST)
Final meeting of the first “Connect the World Project”: Student groups will give short presentations to share what they have learned through their discussions in the preceding weeks.
