Addressing Health Issues Across the Life Course Using Large–Scale Data

Information

The Tohoku Medical Megabank Project has built a rich collection of life–course data through large–scale cohort studies, encompassing medical records, lifestyle information, and genomic analyses. How can these diverse datasets be harnessed to advance health research?
Globally, similar efforts are gaining momentum. At the University of New South Wales (UNSW), comprehensive medical data are being developed–from reproductive and neonatal stages through adulthood and into old age.
Join us for an inspiring session featuring Professor Louisa Jorm, Director of UNSW’s Centre for Big Data Research in Health, alongside emerging researchers. Together, they will explore how life-course data can unlock new insights and transform our understanding of human health.
