Promotion of Personalized Prevention Through the Use of Large–Scale Data

images

Program Theme

To date, the Tohoku Medical Megabank Organization has accumulated world–class cohort data and genome/omics analysis information, but the utilization of this data is still in a developing stage. Through frank discussions with leading overseas institutions, we aim to promote advanced utilization and accelerate research towards the realization of personalized prevention.

We aim to share the forefront of personalized prevention research and development with society, using this as an opportunity to broadly discuss various topics, such as future healthcare systems and how to apply information in workplaces and educational settings. Furthermore, personalized prevention requires large–scale data and global collaboration. By inviting world–leading researchers to Sendai, we hope to deepen their understanding of the extensive data accumulated in Tohoku and its context, contributing to the advancement of data utilization and research development.
