X–ray Spectroscopy for Future Nano Materials Science

Program Theme

X–ray Spectroscopy for Future Nano Materials Science aims to advance materials science by using state–of–the–art X–ray spectroscopy to uncover the electronic, chemical, and structural origins of functionality in nanomaterials. Building on NanoTerasu’s unique capabilities, especially high–energy–resolution resonant inelastic X–ray scattering, the program will bring together international experts in spectroscopy, theory, materials science, and information science.
Through workshops, lecture series, symposium, and public lectures, this program will promote international collaboration, develop practical approaches for X–ray spectral interpretation, and foster young researchers who will lead future research using advanced light sources.
