Junior Research Programs

Special Lectures by Nobel laureates "Gravitational waves –From their first detection to future observations–"

Information

Gravitational waves predicted by Einstein was first detected by the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO) in 2015. Professor Rainer Weiss (MIT), a member of LIGO, and Professor Takaaki Kajita (The University of Tokyo), a member of the Kamioka Gravitational wave detector (KAGRA), will share the wonder of GWs.
