Minamisanriku SDGs Fieldwork
Information
In order to gain a more concrete understanding of the design of a digital x sustainable society, the participants will visit the forestry and fishery industries in Minamisanriku, which are making advanced efforts toward the SDGs, and learn about the actual situation of the primary industry. Guided by the Sustainability Center, the participants will visit forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and oyster farms certified by the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC). The tour will provide an opportunity to envision a digital and sustainable primary industry.
