Falling Walls Lab Sendai

Once again, Falling Walls Lab Sendai was a successful endeavor to bring young participants pitching their solutions to break walls on social issues, health topics, environmental problems and many other topics.

This edition hosted 15 presenters from prominent universities and diverse backgrounds. Among them, we are delighted to announce the three winners of Falling Walls Lab Sendai 2026.

1st Place
Abbhiraj Singh (Kyoto University of Advanced Science) – Breaking the Wall of Brittle Materials via Nanodots

2nd Place
Eka Lutfi Septiani (Hiroshima University) – Breaking the Wall of Overheated Solar Panel

3rd Place
Muhammad Arslan Ahmad (Tohoku University) – Breaking the Wall of Endless Repairs

Two of our winners, Mr. Abbhiraj Singh and Ms. Eka Lutfi Septiani are going to present their research at the Falling Walls Finale taking place in Berlin on November 6. 2026.

As always, the competition was very close, the decision to choose winners was as hard as it gets, and therefore we would like to express our gratitude to all participants!
