Universality of Strongly Correlated Few–body and Many–body Quantum Systems

This program aims to develop our fundamental understanding of strongly correlated quantum matters, including hadrons, nuclear, and cold atom systems. It will focus particularly on their universal behaviors emerging close to the strongly interacting limit, such as the unitary limit. This workshop will be held for a long term (5 weeks long) at Tohoku University. The House for Creativity will provide working spaces and extensive opportunities for free discussion and collaboration among participants.

The Theory of Periodic Tangles and Their Interdisciplinary Applications

The mathematical characterization of entanglement holds immense potential for describing the mechanical functions of diverse physical systems and materials. A universal interdisciplinary study, involving scientists, engineers, and artists promises both advance of the field itself and significant contribution to the research and design of innovative solutions for textiles, medical devices, polymers, molecular chemistry, or construction materials among others.
