Boccia experience sessions will be held in public spaces as a social experiment to consider how to create a "comfortable and pleasant place to walk" for diverse people, regardless of disability, race, nationality, gender, etc. In consideration of utilizing public spaces, these social experiments will be co–hosted with various local governments and organizations.

About “Boccia Fes in Sendai”
The “Boccia Fest in Sendai” was planned as part of this program to promote diversity and inclusion in the city and to promote mental barrier free through the experience of boccia using public space. In order to realize this program, the “ Executive Committee for Boccia Fes in Sendai ” was formed with the cooperation of the Sendai City Sports Promotion Foundation the Sendai Disabled Sports Association, and others. The Boccia Fes will be held under the management of the Boccia Fes Executive Committee.
