Future Society Design Program

Special Lecture on Sustainable Global Future

Information

The yearly program on the integrity of energy infrastructures is very nice and critical according to the sustainability issue within the climate change context. On our side, externalities such as digitalization and functional material availability of the forthcoming energy systems belong to the picture of sustainability and resilience. Beyond, we are currently questioning the LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) of digitalization deluge regarding the data amount (precision and frequency), machine learning techniques, coding, etc., to have an interplay between the agility provided by the digitalization for control, forecast, maintenance, etc. and the required share of final energy for a given hardware efficiency.
