Future Society Design Program

International Workshop: Structural Integrity Challenges of Energy Infrastructure

Information

Maintenance activities play an important role in ensuring the safety and long–life of various artifacts such as industrial plants and commercial aircraft. Optimization of the maintenance activities in terms of both system safety and economic performance is placed as a major key challenge. In this workshop, we will present the recent advances in inspection and monitoring techniques that contribute to the quantitative evaluation of reliability and risk in maintenance activities. This workshop will be co-sponsored by the ELyT Workshop, and we will also discuss future perspectives to establish collaborative industrial research programs.
