There are numerous advantages for organizers of Tohoku Forum for Creativity (TFC) programs, including:
Financial Support
The financial support for each thematic program is up to:
- 10,000,000 JPY (Type A) or
- 5,000,000 JPY (Type B).
These budgets can be used to pay for the travel and accommodation expenses of invited researchers with expertise in the program theme.
In addition to the TFC budget, organizers can use other budget resources such as the Grant–in–Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI) to run the thematic program.
Support from TFC Staff
The TFC staff includes the Vice Director and Program Coordinators who can help organizers in all stages of the program planning process. In addition, the extended TFC staff can also help with many of the practical aspects required to run a successful program.
